Blockpath's Contact Book allows you to import your customers and contacts from QuickBooks and assign their names to Bitcoin addresses to simplify accounting.
QuickBooks - Contact Book - Sync QB Customers
When attached to a transaction, the customer will be used as the source of an Invoice, Payment, or Sales Receipt in QuickBooks.
To add a contact, navigate to the "Sales" tab within QuickBooks, create a customer with payment currency 'BTC' selected. If 'BTC' is not selected, the customer can not be used with Blockpath. The "Display Name" field is what Blockpath uses as the customer's name, and the Address and Notes fields will also be shown in Blockpath. Setting "Preferred Payment Method" to "Bitcoin" is recommended but not required.
QuickBooks - Create Customer
Next, open your Blockpath QB wallet, open the wallet manager, switch to the Contact Book tab, use the sync button to import your QuickBooks customers into Blockpath.
After they are synced with Blockpath, the customer's name can be assigned to addresses on the accounting tab, either by clicking on an address, or by setting the address in the Contact Book.
QuickBooks - Assign Customer to Transaction
Additionally, transactions where you receive crypto currency can have the "Customer" field set to the contact's name, which will link this transaction to the customer within QuickBooks.
